It’s much smaller than the picture suggests
I was expecting the display stations to be MUCH larger than they actually are. The units are actually only about 4-5″ tall and - since a lot of the space is taken up by the gray bars on the sides - the actual display is fairly tiny. The characters on the display are about 1/4″ only and you have to be within 2′ to 3′ from the unit to read the display. The item photograph on the product page gave me the impression that I would be able to read the display from half way across the room. I can’t comment on how the product works, since I am planning to return it and find a unit that has a much larger display.
Update (5/19/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Temp Station
Nice product but the size of numbers indicating the temperature could be larger so you can read it from a distance.
