Yes, it works.
I have Makita tools, this was a logical extension of my tool line. It works, works well, its bright and you will be able to see in the dark.
I like the adjustable head, it helps.

Good spotlight
This light is bright and handy. I can set it up to stand by itself and the light will illuminate quite a long distance.

Great mikita product
Love this flashlight.Did not realize it does not come with an extra battery.I had my cordless drill, but I thought when I bought it was included.I must make to View the full print.It is agreat light Again though.Thanks
