Forrest WW10407125, Super smooth cuts, even..

Overall Rating55555

Super smooth cuts, even crosscuts.

After trying various other blades, I have found this to be the best all around table saw blade. At first I was skeptical of the high price, but after using it I am convinced that this is the only way to go. Tool tip - Make sure that your blade is sharp. It can be deceiving that although it still feels sharp to the touch, it is not cutting as well as it can. I have used the resharpening service that Forrest provides, and I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service.

Update (5/19/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

Wonderful, Awesome Product
This is the cream of the crop, top of the heap, a blade number 1, superb. It cuts as well as everyone says. This blade is significantly steeper than the blade replacement. UPDATE: I cut now 1000 + linear feet of hardwood with this blade. The reductions are awesome! Not a single brand of machine! School boards are ready for glue up. No need to stop the plane. I would give this 6 stars if I could!

Smoothest Cutting Blade I’ve Ever Used!
I use this in my 5hp Jet Table Saw and it is absolutely super! I do have the Forrest 5″ dampener that I use with it which limits the depth of cut to 2 1/2″. Without the damper, it will cut almost 3″ in my saw. The cuts are so clean that you can literally go to the 220 grit sandpaper as the first grade! I figure I’ll save the difference in cost on sandpaper alone (maybe)! Forrest offers resharpening service for these blades that restores them to factory specs. They do require a special grind that most “locals” can’t do. Buy this blade and you won’t be sorry - buy once, cut twice as long!
