Great Disappointment
This tool arrived very dirty and dusty…. like it just came in from a hard day’s work. Also, it didn’t work at all… it wouldn’t even spin. The motor would run, but I think the gears were internally stripped. The housing had the little “R” stamped on it, but I think this one came in the back door and went out the front without any work. Back to Bosch for me.

Just had to rate this item
Normally I do not write a review, especialy on something that I had almost free (had a coupon for $ 25.00 for a $ 49.00 purchase) but I just hated how this unit is that I had to say something, first one I received had to return it, it was dirty, the chuck was worn and it smelled as if it was recovery from a shop on fire. replacement was no better either, it just does not hold drill bits to keep the beer flowing, it was not a good first experiance with the Hitachi tools and certainly the last minute. I read some positive comments about how you should get a heavy hammer drill for specific jobs, I agree with them, but the claims of unity and I was working it must manage had no problem. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET A PLACE DEWALT.

Was Skeptical due to other review, but to date it has been awesome!
I was really worried about buying one of these due to some of the other review, but my experience was completely different. My drill was refurbished, but they came clean and in perfect working order. For $59, you can’t beat it! Would recommend to friends and would buy another…almost clean enough to gift…hmmm…
