Wow! Instant on, rich color, best environmental bulb out there, and tiny!
I’ve been buying the same major brand for years but bought this product and can’t believe the difference. The color of light is richer, it comes on instantly, and I mean instantly!! No one would even know that its a fluorescent light bulb. I also bought some of the dimming bulbs on this site. They are amazing too. They dim just like a normal light bulb. I guess lastly, I like the fact that Earthmate is so environmentally friendly and hardly use any mercury compared to the other brands. Plus, I don’t know how but they are so small they fit in any fixture.

Excellent small bulbs, wonderful light
I’ve been using 12 of these 15 watt full spectrum bulbs going on 5 months now, and am very pleased. The bulbs are suprisingly small for cfl’s, we have fixtures that had regular A type bulbs in mind, and while regular cfls stick out ungainly like, these short fellas fit just fine. Luminance appears comparable to a regular 60-watt incandescent. No audible buzz or hum (unless you put your ear right on the darn thing) WAF (wife acceptance factor) seems to fluctuate depending on location, very high in the lavatory (she likes how colors and details pop out like in full noon sunlight. trying different outfits, make-up etc. all benefit), high in workspaces, and very low in the bedroom (she finds the smothering yellow light of incandescents homey for some odd reason).

Outstanding lights
I bought sale 3 6-packs of these bulbs on a super saver … I wish I would have bought several packs. The full spectrum lighting is really crisp. I replaced many of my bulbs and even some of my existing CFLs (I never liked the light yield and slow start, but I wanted the longer-lasting light bulbs and efficiency). Compared to my current severe brand CFLs, I found the color change to be dramatic. With the recent light bulbs, it was difficult to distinguish the green from the blue cards in the game Uno. Well, it is clearly a difference. Pros: impressive quick start, large, bright color, no packaging end up in landfills. Cons: 1 of 18 bulbs I bought did not work and smelled a electrical short circuit.
